Press Release: Strengthening bilateral cooperation with Tajikistan

Commissioner for External Relations and European Neighbourhood Policy, Benita Ferrero-Waldner visited Dushanbe on 8 April 2007 for bilateral talks with the Tajik government. The talks focused on the further development of the bilateral relationship, regional and international issues. Apart from meetings with President Emomali Rahmon, Foreign Minister Hamrokhon Zarifi and the Minister of Economic Development and Trade, Ghulomjon Bobozoda, Commissioner Ferrero-Waldner also visited the Border Guard Training Centre in Dushanbe.
