This publication presents the latest data (2005) on road and rail transport infrastructure at regional (NUTS 2) level. It covers all EU countries, Croatia, Turkey, Norway, Liechtenstein and Switzerland. The key indicators on motorways and other roads at national level are presented. Also the top 10 regions are listed taking into account the density of motorways and railway network density. Motorway density relative to GDP in 2005 for 20 regions has been also included in the tables. |
