Regional passenger and freight air transport in Europe in 2006

The publication presents the latest data (2006) on passengers and freight air transport at regional (NUTS 2) level. It covers all EU countries, Croatia, Turkey, Norway, Liechtenstein and Switzerland. The top 10 of NUTS 2 regions with the largest number of passengers and freight serviced in 2006 are presented. There are also two maps presenting total number of passengers and freight for all NUTS 2 regions. The regions (top 10) with the largest growth in passenger and freight transport in the last few years have also been presented in the tables.
