The most spied upon people in Europe

BBC reporters give a snapshot of the extent of surveillance of citizens by European governments in a number of countries (including Germany, France, UK, Italy, Greece and Denmark). Germany's highest court ruled on the 27 February 2008 that spying on personal computers violates privacy, but governments across Europe are under pressure to help their security services fight terrorism and organised crime.
