This publication, based on data from the Labour Force Survey, analyses the concentration of men and women in sectors of activity. Women are more concentrated than men in a few sectors of activity. Six sectors (defined at NACE 2-digit level) employed over 60% of all women in work in 2005. For men, the six most important sectors employed only 42%. |
