At a meeting in Paris on the 17 January 2008 to discuss their response to the international credit squeeze, the Finance Ministers from France, Germany, Italy and the UK agreed to step up efforts to improve transparency, co-ordinate national regulators, review the role of credit rating agencies and strengthen management of liquidity risks.
