Press Release: Commission approves changes to social aid for air travel between mainland Portugal and the Autonomous Region of Madeira

The European Commission has approved changes to a social State aid scheme proposed by the Portuguese authorities for air transport services to/from mainland Portugal and the Autonomous Region of Madeira. The scheme, approved by the Commission in 1998, is available to residents of the Autonomous Region of Madeira and students meeting certain criteria.
