The European Commission has condemned in the strongest possible terms the recent attack on African Union peacekeepers in Sudan's Darfur region. Louis Michel, Commissioner for Development and Humanitarian Aid, expressed his deepest sympathy for the families of the soldiers killed and described the attack as "outrageous". |
