Air France-KLM and Delta Air Lines are hoping to exploit the EU/US 'open skies' agreement to introduce co-ordinated services at London Heathrow and threaten BA and Virgin Atlantic. On the 17 October 2007 Air France and Delta Air Lines signed a joint venture agreement to share revenues and costs on their trans-Atlantic routes.
