Political row over German ‘locusts’ simmers on

Events at Deutsche Börse on 9 May 2005 when the company's leaders were forced by shareholders to step down, have reignited political controversy in Germany over the role of financial investors, who have been described as 'locusts' by the Chairman of Germany's ruling Social Democrat party, Franz Müntefering.
