Report from a visit of the European Commissioner for Regional Policy, Danuta Hübner to Slovakia on 17 October 2005. In Bratislava Commissioner Hübner launched the discussion on how EU funds for regional development and social and economic cohesion would help Europe become the most dynamic and competitive knowledge based economy. She was meeting the Slovak Deputy Prime Minister, Pál Csáky, Minister of Finance Ivan Miklos, Minister of Construction and Regional Development Mr. László Gyurovszky and the presidents of Presov, Kosice and Bratislava regions. |
