Press Release: President Prodi to hand over Questionnaire in Skopje on 1 October

Preview of an official visit of European Commission President Romano Prodi to Skopje on 1 October 2004.

The main purpose of the visit was to hand over the Commission's Questionnaire to the Government necessary for the Commission to prepare an Opinion on the country's membership application. President Prodi encouraged the Macedonian authorities to proceed with the necessary reforms spelt out in the European Partnership and with the implementation of the Ohrid Framework Agreement.
