Summary: The first meeting of the Partnership Council between Armenia and the European Union (EU) was held on 21 June 2018. Further information: The meeting reviewed bilateral relations and activities in the framework of the Eastern Partnership and the European Neighbourhood Policy (ENP). It also followed-up on the Parternship Priorities established by both sides. The Partnership Council reviewed economic, trade and sectoral cooperation, a few weeks after the start of the provisional applicattion of the EU-Armenia Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement. It also discussed prospects of launching a visa liberalisation dialogue, as well as key political and regional matters. |
