The European Commission decided on 15 May 2002 to formally request Germany to amend its provisions on driving licences for light quadricycles because the Commission believes that these provisions have a discriminatory effect with respect to quadricycles manufactured in other Member States and therefore contravene Articles 28 to 30 of the EC Treaty, which prohibit any unjustified obstacle to the free movement of goods. |
