EU information handbook 1999, 12th ed.:
The EU Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce in Belgium has published a new edition of its 'EU information handbook'. First and foremost the handbook is a directory and guide to the EU Institutions. Substantial information on the function, structure and composition of each major EU Institution is given, along with full contact details for all senior officials, including e-mail and web site addresses where available. Similar, but more concise, information is given for the EU agencies and related organisations. In addition, further chapters provide concise functional and contact details for other European organisations and world organisations, non-governmental organisations, and missions to the EU. There are also chapters providing brief information on the policy-making processes of the EU, information sources and the US Government.
