Press Release: ECHA calls for information to avoid unnecessary animal testing

The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA), on 10 August 2009, called for health effects information on the reproductive toxicity of a specific chemical substance. This is the first time that this type of public consultation has been made. ECHA expects to make many such calls about different substances over the coming years.
