Date: 17/09/1998 The Austrian presidency pulled out all the stops to come up with some colourful mementoes of the informal meeting of Union culture ministers which was held in Linz last week. As well as providing digital photographs of the conference, Vienna was able to offer a film-developing machine and a scanning service for those who were interested. In an effort not to be outdone by Internet surfers trying to tap into the Starr report on Bill Clinton, Austria also posted photographs of the occasion on its homepage: http://www.presidency.gv.at. |
