EU accounts fail to pass muster

The European Court of Auditors published its Annual report concerning the financial year 2002 on 18 November 2003 and for the ninth successive year the Court has failed to give the European Union's annual accounts a completely clean bill of health. The auditors say they can give assurance to less than 10% of the EU's 2002 annual budget.
