Spain will allow drop in EU funds if UK takes rebate cut

Report of an interview with Alberto Navarro, Secretary of State for the European Union in Spain in which he indicated that Spain would accept a large reduction in its EU financial allocation over the next seven years, but only if the United Kingdom also accepts a much smaller rebate from the 2007-2013 EU budget.
