Council Directive 2003/85/EC on Community measures for the control of foot-and-mouth disease was adopted in September 2003. The UK Government is hoping to implement the Directive by December 2005. This consultation sets out areas where the UK has national discretion. It is on these areas that the UK Department for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs is inviting the views of stakeholders. Deadline for responses: 1 September 2005. |
