Press Release: Europe urged to reward Scottish fishermen for conservation efforts

In the run-up to the autumn fisheries negotiations in November 2009, the Scottish Fisheries Secretary, Richard Lochhead, said that Scottish fleets were 'leading Europe by example through adopting innovative conservation measures' and deserved to be rewarded.
