The EU strategy on biofuels: From field to fuel. Vol 1: Report. Vol 2: Evidence

In this report, the Committee considers whether the EU Biofuels Directive is proving effective as a means of increasing the biofuels content of road transport energy.The report aims to set the current biofuels debate in context; scrutinise the efforts of national governments to implement the Biofuels Directive; examine the merits of the EU Strategy for Biofuels; analyse the potential for fiscal and other policy incentives to contribute to the growth of the biofuel industry; and comment on what further action the EU and national governments should take in this area.
