Reid to unveil job curbs on new EU members

Plans to restrict employment for both skilled and unskilled workers from Romania and Bulgaria were unveiled by the United Kingdom government 24 October 2006. The move will deny thousands of people the right to work in the UK after their countries join the European Union in January 2007.
