Intellectual Property Rights’ – Technical cooperation in third countries

The EU is a major provider of technical assistance in favour of developing and least-developed countries, including in the field of intellectual property rights (IPR). The EU fully integrates the development dimension in its IP technical assistance, which is based on the needs and the level of development of partner countries/regions, as well as on their national objectives.
