Report prepared on behalf of Defra by the Geography Department, Coventry University and Department of Geography, University of Hull, assessing the potential impacts that the introduction of Single Farm Payments (SFP) and other Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) reforms may have on tenant farmers in England, focusing in particular on their diversification activities. The second stage of the research will be commissioned separately over the next few years, when the impact of CAP reform can be measured.
