On 17 October 2007, the European Commission approved an operational programme for the Picardy region in France for 2007-2013. This operational programme comes under the 'Regional Competitiveness and Employment' Objective; its total budget is over EUR 692 million. The financing provided by the European Union under the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) is more than EUR 201 million, representing some 1.4 % of Community contributions for France under the 2007-2013 cohesion policy. |
