The 'Safe Start' campaign was launched on 20 June 2006 by the European Commissioner for Employment, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities, Vladimír Spidla, the current Austrian and forthcoming Finnish EU Presidencies and the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work. Safe Start is dedicated to improving the occupational health and safety of the EU's 75 million young people. |
