The European Commissioner for Regional policy, Danuta Hübner, signed a memorandum of understanding setting up an official forum for the European Commission and China to discuss regional policy issues, Beijing, 15 May 2006. The Commission’s Directorate General for Regional Policy and the Chinese National Development and Reform Commission were planning to promote bilateral co-operation and to exchange information on policies contributing to growth, competitiveness and employment. |
