The European Medicines Agency's Committee for Medicinal Products for Veterinary Use (CVMP), in March 2006, published a ‘CVMP strategy on antimicrobials 2006-2010'. The CVMP stated that maintaining the efficacy and availability of antimicrobials for prudent veterinary use, whilst minimising the development of resistance, was one of the most important tasks in the field of veterinary medicine. |
