Press Release: Call for stronger role for regions in EU jobs and growth strategy as CoR prepares for first territorial dialogue with Verheugen and Hübner (1 March)

Preview of the inaugural ‘territorial dialogue’ with more than 100 representatives of local and regional authorities on 1 March 2006, hosted by the Committee of the Regions. The event aimed to highlight the need for regions and cities to be given a stronger role in the development and implementation of the EU’s growth and jobs strategy.
