Memo: Commission facilitates negotiations for the renewal of Inter-Institutional Agreement 2007-2013

Following the College meeting in Strasbourg on 14 February 2006, the European Commission on 15 February transmitted to the European Parliament and the Council complementary proposals on the renewal of an Inter-Institutional Agreement (IIA) regarding the 2007-13 Financial Framework. The aim was to facilitate an agreement and speed up negotiations. This sets out seven concrete proposals for the negotiations in Trialogue (Parliament-Council-Commission) on the 21 February 2006.
