Press Release: CoR’s online subsidiarity monitoring network passes first test with flying colours

The Committee of the Regions (CoR) on 26 January 2006 announced that it was planning to launch a second phase of its interactive online subsidiarity monitoring network, which had been set up to enable local and regional authorities to give their views on proposed EU laws in the early stages of the legislative process. The second phase was due to start in April 2006 following a successful pilot test involving 20 regional parliaments and assemblies, regional and local authority associations and cities.
