Press Release: Mergers: Commission approves acquisition by T-Systems of IT service provider Gedas

The European Commission on 28 February 2006 cleared under the EU Merger Regulation the proposed acquisition by T-Systems (headquartered in Germany) of German IT service provider Gedas AG. The Commission concluded that the transaction would not significantly impede effective competition in the European Economic Area (EEA) or any substantial part of it.
