Business confidence in the Internal Market is growing, according to a survey of some four thousand firms featured in the latest Single Market Scoreboard. European businesses note a significant reduction in obstacles to cross-border trade compared to two years ago and view favourably the future expansion of the Internal Market to accession candidate countries. Some three quarters of all businesses interviewed consider that the consolidation of the Internal Market will be favourable or very favourable for their business.
