In a communication adopted on 17 March 2000, the Commission has drawn up a ranking of priority measures to be carried out in the next two years in the area of raod safety. The programme proposes several types of action to reinforce safety measures in Europe and to encourage Member States to release additional resources for improvements in road safety. |
