Assistance Programme for Central and Eastern European Countries and the Newly Independent States

Since 1989/1990 Austria has been actively participating in the economic aid programmes coordinated by the European Commission and implemented by all the Western industrialised countries. After ten years of support by the Austrian Federal Government for the reform process in Central and Eastern Europe and the Newly Independent States, the results achieved so far will be reviewed and an orientation for future assistance measures will be presented.
