The site of Commission Directorate General II, responsible for Economic and Financial Affairs, was revamped in March 1998 and can be found at http://europa.eu.int/comm/dg02/index_en.htm/. It also offers the full text of all the Euro Papers series as well as various other key documents, speeches and data on EMU. The Commission's Convergence Report and Recommendation detailing those countries which meet the criteria for participation in the single currency, published in March 1998, is at http://europa.eu.int/comm/off/rep/conver/index_en.htm/. The European Parliament's site called 'The single currency and the European Parliament' is clearly presented and carries full text of EP opinions and resolutions, individual briefings on the Member States and general briefing reports on, for example, EMU and enlargement; and the impact of the euro on insurance markets to name but two.
