EU funding allocations:
SME England Initiative. The international trading performance of SMEs in the weaker regions of England will be given a boost through the new SME England Initiative of the EU Structural Funds. This extra contribution of almost € 49m from the ERDF and ESF is designed to complement substantial EU aid already available to SMEs in these regions through other programmes.
