EU contract funding and other financial opportunities:
Local Social Capital pilot project. The Commission has issued a call for proposals for the implementation of the 'Local Social Capital' pilot project (Article 6 of the ESF). Local Social Capital means an intermediary organisation - operating at regional or local level - capable of providing back-up for people who pool their resources with a view to carrying out micro-level projects which promote employment and social cohesion.
