Tánaiste launches the start of the European Immunistion Week

The first ever World Health Organisation European Immunisation Week was officially launched on 17 October 2005 by the Irish Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Health and Children, Mary Harney. European Immunisation Week was being piloted in seven European countries, including Ireland, before being rolled out across the WHO European Region in 2006.
