Solana visits Kiev to wave EU flag for Yushchenko

Javier Solana, EU High Representative for the Common and Foreign Security Policy, visited the Ukraine on 21 January 2005 to demonstrate the EU's strong support for the new government of Viktor Yushchenko. Mr Yushchenko was inaugurated as President on 23 January 2005.
