Poor countries call for immediate free trade

Meeting in Zambia in June 2005 Ministers from the 50 least development countries (LDCs) called for complete and immediate trade access to the developed world's markets and criticised European Union moves to cut the price paid for sugar, saying it would harm the economies of poor sugar producers.
