The European Commission on 20 July 2005 agreed to authorise five measures to be taken by the Czech Republic on energy efficiency and renewable energy in the transport sector. The Commission's analysis had shown that most of these measures did not threaten to distort competition in the transport market or affect competition between Member States. For 2005-2008, the Czech Government planned spending totalling CZK 278 million (about €8 million). |
