Italy ready to patrol Afghan danger zones

Article reports that Italy’s new centre-right government under silvio Berlusconi has, May 2008, taken a significant step to reinforce relations with the US by announcing that it would be prepared to send its troops to the more dangerous parts of Afghanistan as part of the NATO mission.
