A No vote in the French referendum on the EU constitution on 22 May 2005 would be 'bad news' for the French and European economies, the EU Commission president, José Manuel Barroso, has warned. He said on French radio: 'I hope that France and the French people will remain faithful to their European calling, because we need a strong France at the heart of Europe'. |
