In 2002, Isfol, the Italian national agency for training, carried out the first working conditions survey in Italy in 20 years. Among the principal findings of the survey were that work-life balance opportunities are very low, and that levels of formal training, involvement in decision-making, and teamwork are lower than the European average. Despite these issues, the survey revealed that work satisfaction in Italy is high. |
