The EU's Stabilisation and Association Agreement with Croatia entered into force on 1 February 2005. It is an essential cornerstone of the EU's Stabilisation and Association Process for the Western Balkans. The SAA was the first comprehensive Agreement between the EU and Croatia, similar to the 'Europe Agreements' with previous candidate countries. |
