Chechnya rebels name new leader

Chechen rebels have named the successor to leader Aslan Maskhadov, killed in a Russian raid on 8 March 2005. The influential radical warlord Shamil Basayev said Abdul-Khalim Saydullayev, head of the rebels' so-called Sharia court, would take over until elections.
