While UK employers are relishing the supply of fresh labour from the EU accession countries, in the newly joined Member States there are concerns that important fields are being denuded of vital talent. Take Hungary where, with salaries low and working conditions poor, professions such as medicine are facing a significant brain drain that looks set to accelerate.
