Press Release: Louis Michel meets the leader of the main movement of South Sudan

Following his visit to Khartoum, where he discussed with the Sudanese President, Omar Al-Bashir, on the prospects for a peace agreement between the north and the south of the country, Louis Michel, European Commissioner for Development and Humanitarian Aid, met in Nairobi Dr. John Garang, the leader of the south-Sudan SPLM/A (Sudanese People Liberation Movement).
